Station Head Officer (SHO) Khansahab Aftab Ahmad told Kashmir Reader that Shakeel Ahmad Dar, son of Muhammad Abdullah, a resident of Raithan village, was found dead in his tailoring shop at Kanura.
“The reason has not been ascertained yet behind his death. An FIR under 174 CrPc has been registered at Police Station Khansahab in this regard and investigation has been started,” he said.
Salad Ahmad a local said that Dar had informed his family that he would be out in connection with some wedding work. However his mobile phone remained switched off which created anxiety in his family, he said.
Shakeel was later found dead in his shop by the family members
